North Beach District

The North Beach District of San Francisco USA is situated on the east side of the San Francisco peninsula, north of the Financial District and south of Telegraph Hill.

North Beach was founded by immigrants from Italy who helped establish the fishing industry.  Their legacy included some great Italian restaurants, cafes and bakeries.
