San Francisco Transportation

Getting around San Francisco is easy thanks to its public transportation system.  The network is comprised of buses, trains, streetcars, ferries and rapid transit services.

The rapid transit system (BART) connects the city center to both the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK).

Visitors to San Francisco should definitely experience a ride on one of its iconic cable cars!
